Omg I’ve never met anyone else that taps the plane for good luck! I’m not in the slightest bit superstitious but I’ve done this as a child and the panic when I’m walking up thinking I cant get to it to do it 😂

Krakov is lovely, but the airport security line is the longest ever. We took 45 mins, but heard it can take hours. not quite as bad going home.

I’m officially at my breaking point. For weeks, I’ve been battling these severe, scaly dry patches under my eyes and painful hormonal breakouts around my chin. It’s exhausting to wake up and have your face feel like it’s literally cracking. I’ve been so diligent. I’ve tried: The "No Soap" Route: Switching to only lukewarm water and the gentlest non-foaming cleansers to save what’s left of my skin barrier. Essential Oils: Trying to soothe the inflammation naturally (and being so careful with dilutions!). Every "Barrier Protectant" on the market: Slathering on ceramides and balms that promise to "seal the cracks," only for my skin to still feel like sandpaper an hour later. I’ve stripped my routine down to nothing. I’ve avoided every known irritant. But my hormones seem to have a different plan, and my skin barrier is just… gone. So, I’ve reached my final resort: Prednisone. I’ll be honest, I never want to use it. I’ve fought against it because I know it’s a "heavy hitter" with its own set of baggage, but I’m at the point where I just need to be able to move my face without it hurting. I need to clear this up so I can start from a blank slate again. It feels like a defeat, but sometimes the flare is just too big to fight with topical creams and oils alone. Has anyone else had to take the "steroid shortcut" just to get their life back? I’m starting the course today with a heavy heart but a desperate hope for some relief. I’ll be documenting how my skin reacts and how I plan to rebuild my barrier the right way once the fire is finally out. Send me your "I’ve been there" stories, I really need to hear them today. 👇 #HormonalAcne #SkinBarrierRepair #PrednisoneJourney #MatureSkinProblems #eczemarelief
