@football_news857: 🎙️ Karim Benzema speaks on Lamine Yamal making the UCL Team of the Week: 🗣️“This is exactly what I was talking about, and I received a lot of criticism for it. But I understand football, and I know what I’m talking about. People look at the goals, the numbers and the statistics, but football is much more than that. As an attacker, you can have a big impact on a game without scoring. It’s about how you move, how you create chances, how you help your teammates and how much trouble you cause the opposition. Look at Yamal. He didn’t score, but did that mean he had a bad game? Of course not. Watch how he plays, the spaces he creates and the attention he attracts from defenders. These things matter, even if they don’t always show up on the scoresheet. I’ve played with some of the best attackers in the world, and I can tell you that scoring goals isn’t the only thing that makes a forward special. That’s why I believe Yamal deserved to be in the Team of the Week. People can have their opinions, but if you understand football beyond the numbers, you’ll understand why he was selected.”#football #creatorsearchinsight #footballnews
