from Benny dad,thankyou so much for all the support for my son Benny,he did a tremendous job the whole season on this show,looking back at all these years,my son showed so much dedication week in and week out,thanks coach Felicia and RIP Byrd for all of you that doesn't know us or what we support in our lives,life is real and this is a show that turns things upside down but l did it for my son and he can look back on this for the rest of his life and everyone,even loved ones that lost a major part in there lives,Melody l wish you the best and they had such a fun time doing this and memories last a lifetime.

From the videos I’ve seen, the coaches didn’t like the dad so they took it out on the son and then got blown out in their final game. It’s alright to not like the dad but to take that out on the kid (which in another clip they said that’s why they were treating Benny the way they were) is fucked up. These aren’t good coaches at all.

Hearing parents tell kids the coaches are weak is also not a good thing. If they play and lose it’s ok to tell your child the other team and players were better that day

Throwing all the blame on the coaches is only going to hurt these kids going forward in life. Can’t get by blaming everyone else. You got your shot and didn’t capitalize, that’s sports, that’s life. Not everyone gets equal chances and that’s how it is and how it’s always been
