@kara_marlene: 🚨 UNIVERSITY RESEARCHER ACCUSED OF POISONING COLLEAGUE’S TEA — ARRESTED AT AIRPORT. A University of Wyoming graduate student is facing a felony charge after investigators accused her of poisoning another researcher. THE ALLEGED SUBSTANCE: ACRYLAMIDE. A toxic chemical capable of damaging the nervous system. The alleged victim experienced unexplained weakness, numbness, and other symptoms. His wife and colleagues helped identify the chemical in water used to prepare his tea. Investigators also allege surveillance footage showed suspect AILI WANG searching his desk and photographing research documents. Wang was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on October 6. She has not been convicted. MY QUESTION: Was this professional jealousy, an attempt to interfere with research, or something else entirely? And what would have happened if the victim’s wife and colleagues hadn’t investigated? #WyomingCrime #AiliWang #PoisoningInvestigation #TrueCrimeCommunity #BreakingCrimeNews
