According to a source on X (formerly Twitter), flight DWC052A had to return to the airport following the incident. Fire trucks and emergency response teams were reportedly dispatched to stand by. Thankfully, the aircraft landed safely under its own power and taxied clear of the runway without assistance. No loss of life was reported. The source on X said their own startup clearance was cancelled after the MAYDAY call was heard, pending resolution of the emergency. The aircraft involved was identified as flight DWC052A, a CL60 (Bombardier Challenger 600 series), registered T7-SEI, departing from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (ABV). The exact circumstances surrounding the reported door separation have not yet been independently confirmed.
