My 3.5 week old has surpassed birthweight. When you say feed on demand, does that mean I should never wake to feed, even if it’s been 4-5 hours?

My almost 3 week old has surpassed her birth weight but she’s cluster feeding like crazy, she latches and then after a few minutes unlatches and immediately starts rooting again. Not sure why?? Do I keep bringing her to breast or offer a bottle?

i’ve been doing this and it works really well! if removing from skin to skin doesn’t work, i pass him over to my partner and he suddenly wants to be back with me eating realll quick 🤣
