@itstherespawn: Tesla just revealed a Roadster with rocket-style thrusters, and everyone is already thinking about how this can bring Rocket League to life. At the reveal, it drove upside down on a ramp using suction, spun in midair, and landed under its own control. It later used the thrusters to jump over a truck while twisting in the air, which is basically an aerial. The top Rocket trim is a single seat with 10 cold-gas thrusters, a claimed 0 to 60 mph in under 0.59 seconds, and a top speed above 230 mph. Before anyone orders one, it runs on compressed air rather than actual rocket fuel, the Rocket trim is invite-only, and Tesla says it isn't approved for public roads. Production is slated for 2028, with no price announced, though Tesla is already taking reservations starting at $50,000, so the ball may not be in play for a while. #rocketleague #gaming #tesla #cars
