eshi ane lmintaey akebabila geromulu aybly enkuae tekebelwo adu eyu enkuae bselam atewe gns elsiway I was so angry and heartbroken seeing Tigray’s flag being ignored. Why? Why should something that carries so much of our history, pain, sacrifice, and identity be treated as if it means nothing? Our flag is not just a piece of cloth; it represents everything our people have endured, the sacrifices we have made, and the pride we carry in our hearts.
We have sacrificed so much for that flag. It carries the tears of our people, the pain of our history, and the strength and resilience of our identity. It deserves to be respected, honored, and held high with pride.
As Tegaru, we should never turn our backs on the symbol that represents who we are and where we come from. No matter what happens, no matter how difficult the circumstances become, our flag will always be part of our identity, our history, and our hearts.
I will never accept seeing our flag treated as useless or unimportant. Never. We know what it means to us. We know what our people have sacrificed. And we should never be ashamed of it or allow anyone to make us feel that it means nothing.
Our flag is our identity. Our history. Our pride. And we should never forget that. ❤️💛
