@mothershipsg: Speaking at an Oct. 16 press conference on the haze situation, Acting Minister for Manpower Jasmin Lau said MOM will issue additional advice as haze conditions change throughout the day. This will help employers decide on immediate outdoor work activities and measures to be taken, such as pausing outdoor work completely. Lau added that employers should give consideration to workers who request flexible work arrangements, such as working from home, in situations where they might be needed at home. "I ask that employers and employees discuss early and find arrangements that work for both sides," she said. #mothershipenvironment
