@matthewwilcockofficial: “Working Class People” This is a companion piece to “Middle Class People”. In a similar way to that piece I had an idea of what I was trying to articulate before I started to make it but, that changed when it started to come together. It become a balancing act of lived experience, politics, media, perception and nuance. The idea of trying to say what you mean in the shortest way possible. The idea of a single phrase overlapping and phasing in away that creates accident phrases, word pairings and reinforces different words at different times over the length of the piece. The is the second in a series of spoken word single phrase poems that I develop into musical pieces. I cut this video at the 2:12min mark for IG but their is a full version is 5 mins.
