Talk about schools, should they use gas as well to cook for a thousand students. Think of those that can’t afford a meal per day and starve and you are trying to implement charcoal banning, Some of this Governments in specific should think of where they come from. Is there enough reliable electricity there not only that are they able to distribute the cylinders and cookers to all families. To some it’s there source of income, Charcoal has been our tradition and it’s something we live with so it’s funny how you wake up one morning and think of such. You are literally shuttering people’s dreams and sources of income and if tomorrow your no longer a governor and maybe you run out of money one day and you can’t afford to buy gas, won’t you seek to buy charcoal. Let’s think of the country as a whole and those that are suffering who don’t even have slippers on their feet so first work on taking the street kids to school and providing for families that are not well off, ensuring everybody is stable and this power itself is not stable, it’s something we can’t put our hopes on. Think before you implement such ideas. Some of our local foods taste better when cooked on charcoal.

Unfortunately most of the ugandans can not even afford charcaol itself...Where do u expect them to get money to afford gas..When they barely afford a meal...Talk of how dangerous gas is...they should not have to completely ban charcoal rather encourage pipo to use gas..Its so sad..😭😭and of all the problems we have in uganda,charchol is the most important.?sometimes its hard to defend my country ..Thank hajjat🥰
