What I don't get though, schools send kids away for wearing wrong uniform (fine) but when kids go out on holiday, the parents get fined (a LOT) bc they missed out on learning...same thing applies to the uniform though? And the school aint getting fined. And when u do it 3 times, you get sent to court and may be charged with neglect???? Surely there'sbetter ways in protecting kids and using our tax money. .

Uniform is uniformity, we do it so everyone has the same standard, otherwise it becomes a breeding ground for bullying, who can’t afford nice trainers etc. it’s really not hard

"You seriously sending home my kid over trainers?!" No..YOU'RE sending your kid home over trainers. I never had the wrong uniform for school and we didn't have next day delivery back then, you had to drive into a town and home you got there before it closed at 5pm!

Why are today’s parents like this? Our parents didn’t care that we wore uniform. My mum wouldn’t even let me wear earrings that weren’t plain studs as it was against the school rules. It’s always been this way. I don’t get why parents are making a fuss now.

I had to wear shoes. Hated it, but did it. My kids have to wear a school uniform, they hate it. It is what it is. We have to wear specific uniforms for work but people dont moan🤷🏽
