it’s different and you know it. your man holding your bag for you could be them wanting their bf to care enough about them to help them and do something as SIMPLE as carrying their bag. obviously it can be said the same thing for the other one, but having your woman cook for you, is normalized because of the way it’s been in the past. everyone is aware that woman were always under their husbands control and were expected to cook for them (and everything else that came with men having the higher power) one of these is obviously expected more and happens more often
