My ex did this but was threatening to kill my snake. I just barely escaped with my life and my baby but couldn’t get to the room to grab my snake. He set my house on fire and I still refused to come back. After he was arrested they told me he had a gun,tarp,tape and trash bags in his car,he was going to kill me. After the fire was put out one of the firemen found my snake Lucifer! He was alive and the fire never reached him because the bedroom door was closed
