The Orlando Police Department announced that its Fugitive Unit and SWAT Team arrested Smith on a charge of second-degree murder. Authorities say an expanded investigative team spent the past year reexamining evidence, reviewing witness testimony and conflicting statements made by Smith, and using advances in digital forensics to uncover additional evidence. But one major question remains: Where is Michelle? Despite the arrest, Parker’s body has never been found.
