Salted Caramel Chocolate Apple Pops! They’re sweet, salty, crunchy, and the perfect no-bake fall treat. They’re also gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and super easy to make! Ingredients
•1 large apple
•3 oz dark or semi-sweet chocolate (I use dairy-free and refined sugar-free chocolate)
•2 tsp coconut oil (or other neutral oil) Optional Toppings
•Gluten or grain-free granola
•Chopped nuts (e.g. walnuts, almonds, pecans)
•Flaky sea salt Salted Caramel Sauce
•1 tbsp cashew butter (or other preferred nut/seed butter)
•1 tbsp pure maple syrup or raw honey
•¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
•Pinch of salt
•Splash of water Instructions 1. First, make the caramel sauce: Mix together all the caramel ingredients except for the water. Add a splash or two of water as mixing to reach a smooth, drizzleable consistency. Gently heat if needed to smooth. 2. Next, melt the chocolate: Combine the chocolate and coconut oil and melt in the microwave or on the stovetop using a double boiler. 3. Prepare the apples: Slice an apple into ½–¾

Prepare the apples: Slice an apple into ½–¾" rounds, remove the seeds, and insert popsicle sticks into the apple slices. 4. Assemble: Coat the apple slices in melted chocolate then place on parchment paper lined tray. Sprinkle with toppings of choice (I like granola and chopped nuts) then drizzle with the caramel sauce. Finish with flaky salt. 5. Chill & serve: Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens, then dig in and enjoy! Store leftovers in the fridge. #chocolateapples #caramelapples #healthydessert #vegandessert #refinedsugarfreetreats
