He wanted my mom to abort me. Because she had a shot that he worried would hurt me. Then he was disappointed I wasn’t a boy. He pushed all of us away because he didn’t want to fight with our mom, and was extremely avoidant. The only reason I help him now is because I know he needs the help after his stroke. I’m not going to let my kids feel the way I felt as a kid. They are everything to me, and I’m doing my best for them. They deserve a happy mom. I’m working on it.

my father told me to never to speak to him again and he will see my daughter when she’s 18 since I told him he needed to stop using. He’s in heart failure now and I sent a text to him after not speaking for almost 5 years and he read it and never responded…

No contact for years because he was high and wanted to watch my child. Of course my answer was no and he needed to get clean. He proceeded to tell me what kind of POS I was for trying to give him a drug test to get a truthful response and we haven’t spoke since. He doesn’t know one of my children entirely and hasn’t known my other since he was 3. Neither of his grandchildren know or remember who he is. He is missing out big time because my kids are amazing.

My dad adopted me at 12 & cut me off because him and my mom divorced two years ago & im not his biologically; ........ I'll be 41 in a couple of months 🤣 He also cut off my kids; who are almost adults & he lives 2 miles from my house. My bio dad wears a necklace that says "#1 Dad" bc i seen him at a funeral last year & he had never met my kids... im his only bio kid 😂
