Women don't start facing abuse from men, girls face abuse from boys. Bioessentialism is bullshit, but it's hard to address women not wanting sons before addressing the reasons why. They're scared to have a son like the sons of other women who made their lives miserable, they're scared that one day they'll hear the child they love so much rled a hirl, scared to hear him laugh about it with his friend, then cry about his future his victim is "trying to ruin", they're scared their son will start getting violent once he realises he's stronger than a lot of women. The fact is, good parenting can only go so far, a mother's love can only go so far in a society that teaches boys to hate women.
