We had a few people let us know a few days before that they weren’t coming. We had 2 other cars day of get told by the parking attendants that there wasn’t a wedding that day and they went home.

I chased people down who didn’t RSVP and I’m glad I did cause some of them were yes’s and I wouldn’t have had food for them. I also had a couple who no-showed and didn’t even text me lol

I had a strict 50 guest limit. I had one aunt and uncle that refused to acknowledge the rsvp or any direct messages via txt and fb from me and my parents each! So I had assigned seating and didn’t include them. They came late, almost ruined my entrance. And had to wait for the coordinator to be available to help them with finding seats after everyone sat themselves. 👍🏼

My now x- best friend decided not to come because she wasn't selected as my bridesmaid! That was the end of our friendship. She didn't tell me she wouldn't be attending the reception dinner, in fact she confirmed yes for herself and +1. The reception was limited and had I known she would not attend, I could have invited other people. I will never forget looking at those empty plates and knowing the cost was $125. per person. this was in 2000. 💔
