I LOVED this episode so much just bc it showcased how much penny learned how to advocate for her patients. Derek died bc penny KNEW he needed a CT, but the overhead was too cocky and denied doing one. But you BEST believe that when Meredith was in the middle of a panic attack, she got her some DAMN AIR! She knew her jaw could be rewired. And she knew what her patient needed in that moment and she DID it! And while being verbally attacked by a cocky plastics surgeon, she ADVOCATED ans he shut up about it! The character development in Grey’s makes me 🥹! Except Owen. I hate that mf.

Richard was the main one who kept it real with her and I hated how Amelia kept putting her problems on Meredith. I get Meredith was the only one in her family that was actually there for her, but she acted like Derek’s death was harder on her than Meredith.
