@charleybournetruecrime: The Horrific Paria Diving Incident 💔 In February 2022 off the coast of Trinidad, 5 divers were prepping for a routine maintanece job on an underwater pipe line. This was for a company called Paria Fuel Trading. The men were used to working in hyperbaric habitat’s.. but these can be dangerous due to different air pressure.. remember the titan submarine case? A horrifying accident took place and the 5 men ended up trapped inside the underwater pipeline. With time (and air) running out, Christopher made the decision to try and swim to get help.. He finally reached safety but the situation only got worse when the fuel company decided they didn’t want to risk and further injury so halted the rescue.. Horrifically 4 divers lost their lives, and there was outrage There’s still an ongoing investigation into whether anyone will be held legally responsible for the deaths.. This is a painful reminder that no matter how hard you work for a company, never forget yourself and your own dreams. 💔 You can give a company your time, your energy, and your very best, but at the end of the day, you are still replaceable to them.
