@adamderito2010: One of my good friends, MAJ George Hayworth of the Present Fathers Podcast, whom I had the pleasure of sitting down with for an interview last year, said this perfectly. No matter how much you accomplish, how many people you help, or how much good you try to put into the world, there will always be people determined to tear you down out of jealousy, bitterness, or pure spite. I’ve certainly learned that lesson firsthand. Your time is one of the most valuable things you possess, and so are your knowledge, energy, and willingness to help others. Be careful who you give them to. Not everyone deserves a seat at your table, access to your life, or even the satisfaction of a response. Surround yourself with people who build, encourage, and celebrate the success of others. Keep doing good, keep moving forward, and let the bitter people waste their own time. You don’t have to attend every argument you’re invited to. Ignore the noise. Life is too short, and there’s too much good left to do. If you haven’t had the opportunity to watch my conversation with George on the Present Fathers Podcast, check out both parts below. 🎙️ Part 1: https://youtu.be/kHEKsKRFI3I?si=3sUQl6JTEhzge6Bs 🎙️ Part 2: https://youtu.be/mrMOFLYZHms?si=NIK0pehW-RDzrLI9

The Way Of James :
We are in a time and place in society where we no longer care about "a car that does kickflips" as though this pays for my 7 year old daughters surgeries, or stops me from being laid off at my job when AI pushes me out. So, yes, we sarcastically applaud the wonderful kickflipping truck. All my problems have been solved.

uh firstly not a car, the shell of a car, secondly a not legal maneuver that's more like a hot wheels stunt, completely impractical.

Bro most people I know struggle to drive a car in a straight line. The last thing I want is them having one that can pull off a 360 kick flip olly.

It's not a "flying car", it is a remote control jumping car toy

It's kinda cool, but useless. There isnt a real world application for it, its for showmanship. we want functional advancements that benefit the people not billionaires seeing how many technologies they can create then patent for stupid reasons.

That thing "flew" the way a balloon you just blew up and let go "flies". Be for real.
Dont get me wrong, the SpaceX guys did a great job of doing what was essentially a tech demo for their thruster system, but that "driving upside down" vacuum tech was invented 30 years ago and it no more flew than I would if my lit farts blew me up in the air.

Do a tiny bit of research. If you check the website, the "flying car" isn't street-legal. They want $250,000 to reserve one, but the price might be higher, and there is no projected date for when it will go into production. No one who doesn't work for Musk witnessed this demonstration in-person, and Musk has been known to put fake demonstrations on (remember the "robots" who were actually remote-controlled?).

the car is impressive but assuming it will be legal to just blind other cars around you with literal booster jets is ridiculous.

it's neat. but so what? it will never release, it's just a cool looking thing at this point. money could have been better spent making evs cheaper.
