At the age of 40 and 41 I lost my moms to cancer and several months later I had brain surgery that showed me what really mattered. Health matters, nothing else did when I was on that operating table and if I didn't get up from it , none of it would have mattered anyway. Brands and cars and all that crap. Having to divide my moms belongings showed me that none of this stuff rhat spend our time accumulating to impress others is ours anyways.

I’m 44 and my 40s have been the absolute best! Got married, moved to my dream city and recently started over in a new career. Oh and I’m losing weight too!! Life is amazing with many twists and turns lol.

Thinking I may only have 30 years left if I’m lucky is terrifying. But it’s healing. I wasted so much time worrying about things that didn’t matter. Didn’t do things I wanted to, worried about money. Take those trips, see your loved ones, enjoy life!
