🤢I found a lemon cheong jar I made over a year ago, forgotten in the back of the fridge. Cheong can sometimes last more than a year if stored properly, but not this one. It got contaminated somewhere along the way. I thought this would be a good opportunity to show you what spoiled cheong can look like, since many people ask: How can I tell if my cheong has gone bad? Here’s how: • Mold: Fuzzy spots or growth on the surface or around the lid. These can be white, gray, green, or black. If you see mold, do not try to scoop it out. It is safest to toss the entire jar. • Smell: A sour, off, or rotten smell means it has gone bad. Good cheong should smell sweet and fruity. A slightly boozy scent over time is normal. To help your cheong last longer, avoid opening and closing the container too often, always use clean utensils, and keep it stored in the fridge. Depending on the type, cheong can last several months or even years when properly made and stored. #cheong #lemon #lemons #mold #moldy #mould #mouldy #rotten #foodsafety #expired #expirationdate #homemadefood #gross #disgusting

Daily challenge: Master authentic English speaking – Day 205. Today's phrase is "What's on your mind?", meaning you're concerned or preoccupied with something. This phrase is used when someone seems troubled or lost in thought, showing care for their worries. It's different from "What are you thinking about?", which is a more general question about any thoughts, big or small. Use "What's on your mind?" gently when you see someone looking down, silent, or spacing out. #LearnEnglishFromScratch #EnglishSituationalDialogue #AmericanEnglish #English #USTVShows
