Having huskies, there are definitely a few things I have learned in all of my years. One of the first things, I will never trust a dog park, ever. Their fences are almost never big enough, there's usually holes dug on the side where they can escape, and there are places that they can get out.
I've learned that if I am going to use a dog park, I prefer them to be smaller and have nobody else there, and I do a perimeter check of the dog park. This dog park seemed to be huge, so a perimeter check would have been impossible, which means I would never have taken my dogs there.
Now, to each their own. When you said at the beginning of the video, I hope they can escape, that just sent me because I knew that this dog park was not secure enough for huskies. Maybe I'm a helicopter dog mom, maybe I'm a crazy dog mom. Well, I definitely am a crazy dog mom. But this is not someplace I would ever take my huskies.
Another thing I've learned, because I've used private dog parks before that you had to pay memberships to be a part of, which I actually do enjoy far more than public parks because they are much stricter on their rules and regulations, is bringing toys to dog parks can be a contention that can cause dogs to fight because some dogs will become overly possessive of a toy, so I like it when dog parks don't allow toys. Also, being on leash in a dog park can also be a contention issue with dogs and can cause fights. It's crazy the things that I've learned over the years from this, but yeah, I pretty much knew the minute you let them go that they were going to get out of this dog park. And I don't think it's the dog park's fault at all. A lot of dog parks can contain a lot of much easier dogs than huskies.
