@theebooblessbabe: A mammogram was never going to be my whole plan. Today is National Mammography Day, and here’s my angle on it: my risk didn’t show up on a screening first. It showed up in my family history, and then in a BRCA1 result. Knowing that changed every screening conversation after it. I can’t tell you what your screening plan should be, nobody on the internet can. Talk to your own provider about your family history and your risk. But I can ask you to have the conversation.
