I agree on the part that you've talked of government backed farming causes that's our main GDP share holder currently. Hapo kwa manufacturing, the day you've given is the percent GDP manufacturing has taken. Which has reduced But the general output of manufacturing has risen by from 2 trillion to about 3.7 trillion in the last 10yrs. The percent manufacturing GDP share reduction is due to other factors like the rise of the service industry in Kenya which has over taken the manufacturing industry. Let's say manufacturing is rising by 4%, yet the economy is rising at 7% . This will have a negative effect on the manufacturing share of the GDP but doesn't necessarily mean that manufacturing isn't rising.

Watu ni mafala, I think democracy in general isn't workable in Kenya or Africa in general, I think there should be a panel of independent intellectuals that actually make major decisions for the country, including who leads the country, the common folk really do not know what they want or what is actually good to them they just go with what is popular, trendy or socially acceptable, for me personally, Maraga would've been the best possible candidate, atleast we know he'd uphold the constitution, but he'd need help with some things, good advisors
