🌭 Crispy Spiral-Wrapped Sausage Skewers 🔥 Golden, crispy, and delicious! These Crispy Spiral-Wrapped Sausage Skewers are the perfect snack for parties, family gatherings, or whenever you're craving something crunchy and tasty. Juicy sausages are spiral-cut, coated in a flavorful seasoned batter, and deep-fried until perfectly golden and crispy. Serve them hot with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce for an irresistible treat! 📝 Ingredients - 8–10 hot dogs or sausages - 1 cup all-purpose flour - ½ cup cornstarch - 1 teaspoon baking powder - ½ teaspoon salt - ½ teaspoon paprika - ½ teaspoon garlic powder - 1 egg - ¾ cup milk - Wooden skewers, as needed - Oil, for deep-frying - Fresh parsley, for garnish - Ketchup, for serving 👩‍🍳 Instructions Step 1: Prepare the Sausages Insert a wooden skewer into each sausage. Using a sharp knife, carefully make a spiral cut around each sausage. Gently stretch the spiral to create small gaps along the sausage. Step 2: Prepare the Dry Ingredients In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined. Step 3: Make the Batter Add the egg and milk to the dry ingredients. Whisk everything together until you get a smooth, thick batter without lumps. Step 4: Coat the Sausages Dip each spiral-cut sausage into the batter. Make sure the batter coats the sausage evenly, including the gaps between the spiral cuts. Step 5: Heat the Oil Pour oil into a deep pan and heat it to 350°F (175°C). Carefully check that the oil is hot enough before frying. Step 6: Fry Until Golden and Crispy Carefully place the coated sausage skewers into the hot oil. Fry for approximately 3–5 minutes, turning as needed, until the coating becomes deep golden brown and crispy. Fry in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan. Step 7: Drain and Garnish Remove the skewers from the oil and place them on a wire rack or paper towels to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for extra flavor and color. Step 8: Serve and Enjoy! Serve the crispy spiral-wrapped sausage skewers while they're hot and crunchy. Pair them with ketchup, mayonnaise, garlic sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce. 😋 Tips for Perfect Results - Make sure the batter is thick enough to stick to the sausages. - Dry the sausages with a paper towel before coating for better batter adhesion. - Keep the oil temperature around 350°F (175°C) for a crispy coating. - Avoid overcrowding the pan, as this can lower the oil temperature. - Soak wooden skewers in water for about 20–30 minutes beforehand if they will be exposed to heat. - Always handle hot oil carefully. ❤️ Enjoy This Crispy Snack! These crispy sausage skewers are crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavor. They're a fun and delicious snack that both kids and adults can enjoy! #EasyDinner #dinnerrecipes #comfortfood #creatorsearchinsights #EasyRecipe - @emma_recipes0.2
