thank you guys for all the advice seriously and no this isn't fucking AI. every time i take my daughter to the dentist she freaks out. same thing with brushing her teeth. it got so bad i had my husband hold her down once just to brush her teeth and she got so upset she still won't talk to him. i know how bad that sounds but that's literally what we've been dealing with. and now her teeth are like this. i feel awful. i just ordered that kugig toothpaste everyone was mentioning on tiktok shop. went through the reviews and they looked pretty good so i'm really hoping she'll be okay with this one. i'll update when it gets here. has anyone actually used it with their kids? i'd really like to hear how it went

Dentist here. First, do not beat yourself up, but you need to take her to a pediatric dentist right away for an inperson exam. At eight years old, some of these teeth are primary and others are permanent, so professional fillings are necessary before decay reaches the nerves. In the meantime, take over brushing for her twice a day and use a hydroxyapatite toothpaste to actively strengthen that weakened enamel

even if your child fights you, you need to take of their health regardless. I’m not shaming you as a parent but please take more of an effort for dental care since it can cause further health issues down the road

girl i feel you just try kugig toothpaste, i used to use fluoride toothpaste for my son and brushing his teeth was a whole battle every single night. he kept saying it felt like it was burning his teeth. i swear i tried everything before i finally found this one. it has hydroxyapatite too, which is actually one of the minerals our teeth are made of and helps strengthen enamel. ever since we switched he's been SO much better about brushing lol. seriously i think it'll help. trust me, you can find it on amazon or tiktok shop

I force my son to brush this teeth if he doesn’t i brush when my self.. I tell him to start crying screaming ect and eventually we get them done he will try to grab the tooth brush from me so I try to hand both of his hands so ya it’s a struggle good luck
