Voting is like taking public transportation, you need to go at least somewhat in the right direction. Sure it may be a miserable ride and you’re probably still not going to be dropped off where you want be but you choose the option that’ll ultimately bring you closer to where you wanna go

Yup, voting, especially under the current, modern system, is not (and won't be for at least a very long time) about finding your perfect candidate and having all your dreams come true overnight. It's about what kind of landscape you want to be living in while you do the REST of the work, protesting, organizing, rallying, petitioning, etc. When you look at it that way, I will take a Democratic administration 100% of the time over a Republican one.
