Old conveyor smooth belt Drill holes and put rope through.That is what a couple of people I know have done.Check with quarries in the area about buying old conveyor belt they are very reasonably priced.

Get a half inch horse mat from TSC drill holes in them, put a rope through and tie knots best way I’ve figured lol

Coalmine belting. Put a rope on both ends and pull them with your side-by-side.

I called shur co and they made us a tarp that fit over our pit with about 18” over hang. Then we put a metal rod thru both ends to help hold it down. Then use blocks in the corners during the off season. It is pretty much water proof too. Been super happy with it. It’s lasted for many years.

I’ve seen like a big door just sheets of steel on hinges with basically just a hand crank from a boat that hook on then came crank it open and when your not using it you unhook it and it’s all open there

we got mates look about like that got at tsc I think they r ment for horses we use to have big metal one we used skidloader to move was always kinda a pain
