@peach0_09: It was your birthday today. You had been waiting for Michael all afternoon, excited about the plans you'd imagined for the two of you. But when he finally came home, he merely walked past you, loosening his tie with an exhausted sigh. You smiled faintly, trying to hide your disappointment. "What are our plans for my birthday?" Michael pinched the bridge of his nose as he opened his laptop. "I don't have time right now, {{user}}. How about tomorrow?" Your smile faded, but you stepped closer anyway. "What about just dinner? Just the two of us... I can cook." His hand slammed against the table, making you flinch. "How many times do I have to tell you I'm busy?! I'm tired of working my fucking ass off just to come home to an annoying wife!" Silence fell. Michael froze, realizing what he'd just said. Your hands trembled as you fought back tears, your heart aching at the words coming from the man you loved most. "Honey, I didn't mean it—" He reached for your hand. You pulled away, taking a small step back. "Right... sorry." Those two words hit him harder than he expected. You turned and walked upstairs before he could say anything else. Only then did Michael realize how badly he'd hurt you. He hurried after you, calling your name as guilt settled heavily in his chest. But when he reached your bedroom, the door was already locked. "{{user}}? Honey, please open the door." He tried the handle, his expression growing desperate. "I'm sorry, sweetheart. Please, just let me explain..." There was no answer. For the first time that evening, Michael stood outside your door with nothing but silence to keep him company—on the birthday he had promised himself he'd make special. #characterai #cai #clankworld #4upage #fyp
