Do not force release the steam.    Ghee Rice: Prepare your preferred ghee rice and keep it hot. Fried Onions: Slice 1.5 small onions and fry them in ghee until golden brown and crispy (optional). Note: Keep half of these fried onions aside for the final garnish, and mix the other half directly into the hot beef masala. Fry a small amount of cashews and raisins in ghee until golden (optional) and set aside. Layering for Dum 1-Spread the hot beef masala gravy at the bottom of the pot (mix half of the fried onions into the masala now) 2-Banana Leaf Layer: Place a clean banana leaf directly over the hot masala. 3-The Rice Layer: Add the hot ghee rice evenly on top of the banana leaf. 4-Final Garnish: Sprinkle one pinch of garam masala, the remaining fried onions, fried cashews, leaves, and raisins on top.(optional) Cover the pot tightly Place it on the stove and cook on medium to high flame for 7 to 10 minutes (adjust the time slightly depending on the moisture level of your masala gravy). Once done, turn off the heat, let it rest for a few minutes, then open and gently mix the layer. . . . #KeralaBeefBiryani #BiryaniRecipe #CookingTips #DesiFood #FoodTok
