my dad started serving me first, while pregnant and giving me bigger portions. one time my brother said "why does she get so much?" and I was kinda asking the same question even though everyone knew, he said "cause she's pregnant. she has to feed the baby too" and guess what? every time, I ate all of it even though I too, thought it was too much

I also have HG yall so my doctor doesn’t restrict my diet because I normally can only eat once a day!! My baby is happy and healthy 🤰🏽🍼

Pregnant women “cant” have runny eggs or uncooked food because the risk of salmonella and listeria or other risks, but people don’t realize that an average person has the same chance of getting it. As a pregnant woman it’s considered more life threatening because of a weaker immune system and harm to the baby, but the average person can still die from it as well, but the chances of getting it are still the same. Eating pasteurized foods and eating clean lessens the risk but there is no complete way of avoiding eating the foods that can give you salmonella or listeria, and if they don’t have those there’s still other things out there that you can get. It’s just not recommended but I don’t think a lot of pregnant women care so they say you can’t.
