@pastorjspade: Today, I am grateful for the motions. Not every day is a good day. Not every conversation goes the way we hoped. Not every person treats others with love. Not every step forward comes in leaps and bounds. And not every move of God shows its results right away. Sometimes we simply have to go through the motions, trusting that God has a better plan that will become clear down the road. Sometimes we need to shrug it off and keep moving. If you can't muster an inch, move a quarter inch. Then another. And another. Before long, the quarter inches become an inch, the inches become a foot, and the feet become a mile. Don't underestimate what God can teach you while you stay faithful, keep showing up, and wait on Him to reveal His plan. The miles will come. Today, I am grateful for the motions.
