@geometry.ap.expla: Geometry: Proving Lines Parallel Parallel line proofs in Geometry come down to one flip: when the lines are given as parallel, the angle theorems find your angles, but when you have to prove the lines parallel, the last reason must be a converse. Corresponding, alternate interior and alternate exterior angles prove it by being equal, consecutive interior angles by adding to 180. When the given pair has no name, like angles 2 and 5 being supplementary, build a bridge through angle 1 with a linear pair and Congruent Supplements, then finish with the Corresponding Angles Converse. Citing the theorem instead costs the point. Save this for your next proof assignment. #mathtok #studytok #parallellines #angleconverses
