On October 15, three children—ages 5, 8 and 11—and a teacher were killed. Five. Eight. Eleven. Families should have been choosing pictures to frame. Now four families are grieving someone who will never come home. And we’re supposed to hear “thoughts and prayers” again? Fucking enough. Grief needs to be met with action: keeping guns out of dangerous hands, secure firearm storage, and acting on threats before another classroom becomes a crime scene. Demand concrete plans from elected officials—and accountability for delivering them. Children deserve to grow up. Teachers deserve to come home. We cannot keep accepting this.
