Masoud Zabanran :
This conspiracy was designed and carried out by the French and the British—a conspiracy that would explain a great many things: that they not only invented dinosaurs, fabricated their fossils, and convinced generations of paleontologists around the world, but also devised an entire narrative system intended to divert humanity’s attention away from the fundamental realities of its existence.
The objective would have been particularly ambitious: to feed the collective imagination with gigantic prehistoric creatures, vanished worlds, and, why not, extraterrestrial civilizations, in order to direct people’s minds toward distant illusions rather than the tangible realities of the present.
And that would not be all. This narrative construction would also have enabled certain centers of power to deliberately draw the resources of other societies toward themselves: capital, researchers, students, talent, technology, and even populations. In this way, there would be no need to conquer a territory directly; it would be enough to construct a sufficiently powerful narrative to make others come of their own accord to seek their future at the center of the system.
A form of intellectual, cultural, and identity-based colonization, subtler than traditional colonization, since the colonized would have the impression that they had freely chosen their destination.
A truly extraordinary operation, then: inventing dinosaurs, fabricating the evidence, reshaping our understanding of Earth’s history, influencing collective psychology, and, along the way, attracting the world’s brightest minds and capital from across the globe.
All that would be missing is for them to have invented chickens, too, in order to convince us that dinosaurs had actually existed.
