got into an uber in London and was yapping away to the initially very silent driver, he finally turned to me and said “you’re literally the first person to speak to me all day, I could tell you were a northerner as soon as you got it!” left with his number and he’d told me he’d come pick me up if I was struggling to get taxis around London!

Met some elderly people in the train from London to York, who are from Newcastle and yes they were randomly talking to us, but I think it was the cutest interaction ever, so pls I love it talk to me

As a southerner, northerners are SO much kinder and nicer to be around! I love going on walks and if I see someone anywhere I’ll say hello, down south a lot of people just ignore you and lowkey glare at you, went up to the Yorkshire Dales and met the friendliest people ever and had great conversations with them. It’s crazy 🤣
