As a male nurse, working with female docs, I get this! It happens to me EVERY SINGLE DAY! Those are my exact words when they look at me as if I'm the doc.... I don't want that responsibility…. 😂😂😂

I'm a medical assistant, and I have a male coworker who's asked all the time if he's the doctor. once he corrected the patient and when they said "oh I just thought", my coworker said "why? because I'm a man?" the patient sputtering after that was hilarious

I was in a patient's room getting their morning med pass ready. The male housekeeper came in and was LITERALLY emptying the trash cans when the patients said to him "Oh doctor! I'm so glad to see you." Amazing!
