In 2024, a father with the initials YS reported the act of bullying and followed by other demands (such as harassment, etc.) that occurred in a private school in Bekasi, and the victim was his daughter. He brought this case to court and was declared N/O, but he later brought it to the police. I don’t understand how the police said that my grandfather was a suspect. We have tried pretrial (prapid), but we don’t have much power to fight the police. The strange thing is that my grandfather was arrested without checking the location of the school, and we have also brought witnesses, namely the principal and the students’ parents (the school has many parents who stay to wait for their children to finish). My grandfather is a shuttle driver at the school who has been working for more than a dozen years, but most of the children he picks up are his own grandchildren. None of the children he picks up have ever experienced such a thing. This child is not part of the shuttle group, and my grandfather doesn’t even know the child. My grandfather was even accused of threatening the child with a piece of wood. A grandfather lifted a stick and chased a child? My grandfather even has a hernia and prostate disease. It is hard for him to walk. Is it possible for him to run while carrying wood and chase a child who runs much faster than him? We are also accused of demanding 10 trillion from him. Does he think we are crazy? There is no reasonable calculation for that. We are not that crazy to sue for 10 trillion for defamation. My grandfather is now arrested by the police, but they didn’t check anything. I really don’t understand how they can arrest someone without strong evidence and an in-depth investigation. How can they have the heart to put an innocent person in prison? We are said to have power, a position, and money. Guys, we are just ordinary citizens. My grandfather is just a driver. We don’t have any power to fight the police or anyone else. Once again, if he really did that, I wouldn’t be crazy enough to defend him. But this is not the case.
