my friend called me after she moved to an all white neighborhood. she said she rec 2 baskets of treats, her lawn was mowed, and she found her husband drinking beer with another husband across the street sitting in a garage that had a refrigerator full of drinks in it. she then asked me if that was normal? 😂

I bought my brand new house in the ghetto when my kids were young and we don’t know half the people on our block we just smile and nod when we see each other outside but we all trust each other to watch out for our homes when we are gone and our kids when they’re outside. The watch is so good here they called the cops on my brother for going in my garage when I was at work. 🤣

when I moved to my new neighborhood, mostly elderly people live there so one of them took a cake to welcome us to the neighborhood. I pretty much met all of the neighbors within days of moving in...Honestly I love it. They dont bother me I dont bother them. They are always nice.
