Get a satin cap for kids for her to sleep in. It protects curly and textured hair, keeps it from getting dry and frizzy and breaking off.

1. silk pillowcase. 2. Silk bonnet (good luck) 3. Leave-in conditioner. This is my granddaughter, she got my curls. Naturally curly hair is a new day, every day.

Her hair looks beautiful, but at least in my curls, I find mousse to be drying and hard to brush out, which breaks fragile curls and makes them frizzy in time. If you find the mousse hard to brush through, I recommend a curl cream instead!

I used to nanny for a family and the daughter had really curly hair like hers. She used Cantù moisturizing curl activator cream after the shower and her curls stayed perfect for 2 days. It helps with frizz.
