How do you get a home loan without credit? I’m all for cash for cars etc. but buying a home as a young person cash isn’t an option.

I love DR, but when I was becoming an adult I had debit cards only and no debt. I couldn’t get an apartment, hotel room, rental car, or even set up my utilities without major hurdles!

Tell your kid to get their own card. They have student versions with credit limits, like $500. That’s enough for those little transactions, and they can pay the bill themselves.

Not completely correct. Saving up for a home will cost you in the end as it would take a very long time to build up that much in savings, meanwhile the cost of homes went up quite a bit during that time frame.
