Here is the problem. Before I did my policy, the person broke it down to me after asking so many questions. I wasn’t looking for something immediate. I needed something with a minimum of 20 years plan. I don’t plan to borrow from it in 10 years time. When they did my illustration, I asked, if I contribute this amount, in 20 years, when I will be 60, what will be the minimum I will be getting back. I saw everything and I knew I won’t be able to withdraw for certain period of years . These things I knew and I act like that policy does not exist except when the money is taken from my account.

A lot of the concerns I’ve heard about WFG seem to revolve around people having difficulty accessing funds from their insurance policies. I’m curious to know if anyone has experienced or knows of a situation where a policyholder passed away and their beneficiaries were unable to access or receive the death benefit. Has anyone encountered something like this firsthand?

Your message is misleading. For you to get a commission or earn money you need to have a license to offer IUL. I was with WFG before pandemic and then quit coz my mentor passed away and I don’t have team to relied on. Then I came back coz the product itself was really good, we used it for my sons educational expenses and communicating with TransAmerica is so easy if you want to withdraw or loan money out of your cash surrender value. Some people or agent got frustrated coz their team is not good enough to support and mentor you. They recruit to the override and to hit a higher commissions level… can you imagine, even if you’re not license you may earn money as well by referring client for Debt Settlement, Educational coaching and others.
