@threadsmd: Getting into leather jackets has involved plenty of trial and error. I’ve bought beautiful pieces from makers I respect, only to realize after wearing them that the style or proportions weren’t right for me. Sometimes I’d already bought another before reaching that conclusion. Selling them and taking the losses was an expensive way to figure things out. I still get excited about good leather and the people making these things. I’m just learning to give myself more time to enjoy what I have and understand what actually works before making the next purchase. These are seven mistakes from my own experience.
