To be honest the Ayn Thor is at a weird spot on one hand if you want performance you can get a ayn odin 3 which is way more powerful or you can get an anbernic rg dds where you sacrifice 25% of performance for a better experience in all aspects (I mean metal alloy hinges and digital triggers that will never fail like ayn analog triggers due to poor springs) So yeah if an anbernic uses 3.1 ufs emmc or better they are better than ayn thor, 12,5% of price reduction, 25% performance reduction, but the rest is way better, if you want performance there is the odin 3

I was just about to make a video about this. A device that has enough performance overhead to run almost every 3DS game at 3x resolution essentially makes this device 3DS end game.

I love the thought of having an RGDDS but, for the price it just isn’t justifiable in my opinion - I’d rather just buy an original 3DS. Hopefully my opinion changes when I actually get my hands on one though!

True 5:3 is awesome but again the price, without the coupon I spend 30$ more for the thor base and get the 1080 oled 120hz and 25% more apu power? seems like a bad deal than playing on a 16x9 with small bezels. but maybe im only saying that owning all my 3ds and if I didnt have those it would change my perspective.

I am gonna be an asshole. Technically they could have fit a 1080p 16:9 screen and just not use the extra width. Is that worth it? Not at all, but availability alone is not an excuse
