my hair weights down instantly if i remove the gel cast, but i dont wanna thin out my hair

My gels always feel so sticky. Do yours not do that….my gel never makes a hard cast either really … even when it drys it feels dirty…they more sticky gel I put in … I tried with moose today instead of gel and my hair feels much more cleaner and shiny, but I still didn’t get a jail cast.
