Teacher here, 26 years. It’s not “if” anymore, it’s “when”. I keep a tool kit with a hammer in my closet. I know how to lock my door with a chair. We just got black out blinds for our windows yesterday…. It’s not “if” but “when”. Pray for us. ❤️🙏🏼

Took my kids to their open house at the beginning of September- met their teachers and all of it- made sure they knew which exit was closest to their room. I tell them to run. If this ever happens and it is safe to do so, RUN. Mom will find you. Always.

I was working in a elementary school when the mass shooting in Connecticut elementary school. I was devastated my students asked me are we safe. Stop hating others!!! Get Help if you’re in crisis???!!!! Call 988 This must STOP!!!!!

I want my tax money to pay for armed protection at all schools in this country. We need to do everything possible to keep our babies safe! We need to wake up and stand up, enough is enough

There is plenty of money in the budget here in Bend Oregon to be able to have a school resource officer on campus. Ben PD is corrupt and so is the city of Bend. They have thousands of dollars from these new traffic cameras they installed and they are just enriching themselves instead of using that money for things such as school resource officers

I think retired PD or first responders should make a coalition where they can be at schools across the country. Similar to volunteer PD or FD? Even just have a small post outside in the parking lot. Something has to be done 🥺

The school is doing everything they can. The systems in our country are failing. The fact that we let corrupt corporations and billionaires make all of the laws is the problem.

I hate the govt entities that continue to fail to harden these schools. TF do you mean the shooter entered after breaking a locked glass door. Y’all couldn’t splurge for bulletproof glass doors? Do they even actually care about protecting the kids? Or just the appearance of security?

The state villainized SRO’s and defunded their programs. “The community, the schools, should be the ones protecting your children”. They were until radical liberal policies prevented them from doing so. CBS even ran stories in support of reducing “guns in school” by reducing these SRO programs. Stfu CBS.
