I feel like with fresh Caribbean immigrants there’s usually way more prejudice because anti black US propaganda but in my experience, Caribbean’s are way more likely to integrate into the black community in most places. Since we’re both descendants of chattle slavery there’s more of an understanding. Since most of black the Caribbean countries are predominantly black You can often tell that a lot of Caribbean’s will try to align more with whiteness simply because of negative things they hear about black Americans, but as soon as they realize what whiteness in America is actually like tend to learn real fast.
